Destination: Healthcare

No matter where you’re going: if you get there by bus, you’re choosing the active travel option. Evidence shows that using public transport leads to happier people living healthier lives, as it helps to achieve the recommended 10,000 daily steps (after all: walking to the end of the road is more exercise than just stepping onto the driveway). It’s also proven to aid mental wellbeing as bus users can sit back and relax, saving themselves from the constant concentration and stress that come with driving.

Second only to the City Centre, Ninewells Hospital is among the busiest hubs in our network of fast, frequent services. We run more than 20 buses per hour there - which is better than one every three minutes. Plus, we’re able to drop off patients, staff and visitors right at the front door. That means there’s no need to trek across the car park (after searching in circles for a space…)
