Children in Dundee can travel across the city for just £1.50 per day with Gran and Grandad during the Easter holidays – thanks to the Kids for £1.50 offer introduced by National Express Dundee.
The discounted child daysaver can be bought on board from the driver and gives anyone under the age of 16, travelling with a Scottish concessionary pass holder, a day’s unlimited bus travel for just £1.50.
The offer is valid between Friday 3rd April and Sunday 19th April.
The bus operator has also got an Easter treat for groups with its Five for a Fiver deal. From Friday 3rd to Sunday 26th April the price of the Daysaver 5 has been slashed from £7 to £5, which means groups of up to five people can travel all day on the network for just £1 each.
Elsie Turbyne, Managing Director of National Express Dundee, said:
"There are lots of special events and attractions throughout Dundee this month but driving into the city centre or finding parking can be stressful, especially when travelling with kids. Our Kids for £1.50 ticket makes it cheaper and easier to keep wee ones entertained this Easter holidays.
“Not only that but older families and groups of friends will find it easier to arrange a good value day out with our Five for a Fiver offer – all you have to do is ask for a Daysaver 5 when you get on the bus and you can spend a full day making the most of the holidays.”
