National Express Dundee is celebrating the dedication and hard work of its longest-serving employees.
The bus operator has handed out awards to 48 employees, including drivers, inspectors, engineers and training staff. The certificates and gifts were presented by guest of honour, the Traffic Commissioner Joan Aitken, at a special ceremony at the Apex Hotel in Dundee on Saturday (22nd November).
Recognition was received for 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years’ service, with a grand total of 1275 years accrued by 48 employees.
Managing Director Phil Smith said:
“Everyone receiving an award here today deserves recognition for their dedication to the industry and to the people of Dundee. I would like to thank each one for the commitment they have shown, not only to this company and its predecessors, but most importantly to the thousands of bus passengers they have helped to get around this city so safely and efficiently during the years.”
