Today, Xplore Dundee buses regularly travel across to Fife during term time to transport schoolchildren from Tayport, Newport and Wormit to Madras College in St Andrews.
Managing Director Elsie Turbyne said: “The Tay Road Bridge is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Dundee, and a vital part of the transport infrastructure of the city and its surrounding area.
“Xplore Dundee is looking forward to helping celebrate the bridge’s 50th anniversary and I would encourage everyone to come along and see our Corporation Bus on Sunday, and enjoy all the other activities on offer.”
Every service operated by Xplore Dundee on a Sunday runs into Dundee city centre, making it easy and great value to travel to the Road Bridge anniversary celebrations by bus.
