Broad Street, Birmingham closure

From Tuesday 24th September until Friday 4th October, Broad Street will be closed between Oozells Way and Lyons Queensway whilst the Conservative Party Conference takes place. During this time, services 9, 12/12A, 13/13A, 23/24, 126, X8 & X10 will be diverted.

Tuesday 24th September diversions

On Tuesday 24th September, Broad Street will be closed in one direction, heading into Birmingham City Centre. 

Services 9, 12/12A, 13/13A, 126, X8 & X10 diversion

Buses will divert from Broad Street via Oozells Way, Sheepcote Street, St Vincent Street, King Edwards Road, Cambridge Street, and Lyons Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route. 

Services 23 & 24 diversion

Buses will divert from Five Ways via Islington Row Middleway, Bath Row, and Holloway Head to rejoin the normal line of route. 

Wednesday 25th September diversions

On Wednesday 25th September, Broad Street will be closed in one direction, heading into Birmingham City Centre, until 7.30pm. After this time, Broad Street will be closed in both directions. 

Services 9, 12/12A, 13/13A, 126, X8 & X10 diversion

Buses heading into Birmingham will divert from Broad Street via Oozells Way, Sheepcote Street, St Vincent Street, King Edwards Road, Cambridge Street, and Lyons Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route. 

From 7.30pm, buses heading out of Birmingham will divert from Great Charles Street via Sandpits Parade, Clement Street, St Vincent Street, Sheepcote Street, Oozells Way, and Broad Street to rejoin the normal line of route. 

Services 23 & 24 diversion

Buses heading into Birmingham will divert from Five Ways via Islington Row Middleway, Bath Row, and Holloway Head to rejoin the normal line of route. 

From 7.30pm, buses heading out of Birmingham will divert from Great Charles Street Queensway via Sandpits Parade, Clement Street, St Vincent Street, Sheepcote Street, Oozells Way, and Broad Street to rejoin the normal line of route. 

Thursday 26th September - Wednesday 2nd October diversions

From Thursday 26th September to Wednesday 2nd October, Broad Street will be closed in both directions.

Services 9, 12/12A, 13/13A, 126, X8 & X10 diversion

Buses heading into Birmingham will divert from Broad Street via Oozells Way, Sheepcote Street, St Vincent Street, King Edwards Road, Cambridge Street, and Lyons Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route. 

Buses heading out of Birmingham will divert from Great Charles Street via Sandpits Parade, Clement Street, St Vincent Street, Sheepcote Street, Oozells Way, and Broad Street to rejoin the normal line of route.

Buses heading out of Birmingham will divert from Great Charles Street Queensway via Sandpits Parade, Clement Street, St Vincent Street, Sheepcote Street, Oozells Way, and Broad Street to rejoin the normal line of route. 

Friday 27th September 9.45pm - 11.15pm diversion

Due to an event at the Utilita arena, there will be a change to the diversion of services 9, 12, 12A, 13, 13A, 126, X8 & X10 heading into Birmingham, between 9.45pm and 11.15pm on Friday 27th September. 

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will divert from Broad Street via Oozells Way, Sheepcote Street, St Vincent Street, Summer Hill Street, Summer Hill Road, Spring Hill roundabout, Summer Hill Road, and Great Charles Street Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route. 

 

Thursday 3rd & Friday 4th October diversions

On Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th October, Broad Street will be closed in one direction, heading into Birmingham City Centre.

Services 9, 12/12A, 13/13A, 126, X8 & X10 diversion

Buses will divert from Broad Street via Oozells Way, Sheepcote Street, St Vincent Street, King Edwards Road, Cambridge Street, and Lyons Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route.
