22, 22C - Strathmartine Road Diversions

Due to roadworks taking place on Strathmartine Road services 22 and 22C will be subject to diversions starting 23rd April 2007 and continueing for approximately 3 weeks.
The diversions will take place in 2 phases as follows:

Phase 1 - Closure of Southbound Carriageway
Starting Monday, 23rd April 2007 and lasting for 5 days the Southbound carriageway of Strathmartine Road will be closed. Services 22 and 22C travelling towards the City Centre from Downfield/Craigowl View will be diverted from Strathmartine Road via Balgowan Avenue, Derwent Avenue and Gilburn Road to rejoin Strathmartine Road and the normal route.Buses from the City Centre to Downfield and Craigowl View are unaffected.

Phase 2 - Closure of Northbound Carriageway
From Monday, 30th April 2007 and lasting for 2 weeks the Northbound carriageway of Strathmartine Road will be closed. Services 22 and 22C towards Downfield and Craigowl View from the City Centre will be diverted from Strathmartine Road via Gilburn Road, Derwent Avenue and Balgowan Avenue to Strathmartine Road where they will rejoin the normal route.Buses travelling from Downfield and Craigowl View towards the City Centre are not affected.
