August Diversions - Latest News

Various diversions affecting Travel Dundee services will be in operation during August. Details of changes to bus routes are given below.

Lord Provost Youth MarchThe Lord Provost Youth March will take place in the city centre on Saturday, 25th August 2007 between 1400 and 1500 causing a number of services to be diverted. Please see the temporary diversions page for more details.


Douglas RoadDue to the closure of Douglas Road between Longtown Road and Happyhillock Road starting on 27th August 2007 and lasting for 5 working days from 0930 until 1600 each day services 7, 8 and 14 will be diverted as follows:

Buses from Asda at MiltonBuses will run via Ballindean Road and Balunie Avenue then the normal route.
Buses from Balunie AvenueBuses will run via Ballindean Road and then the normal route.

Apollo Way and Riverside AvenueDue to the closure of Apollo Way and Riverside Drive starting on Monday 27th August 2007 and lasting for 2 weeks services 10X and 29 will be diverted as follows:

Service 10XFrom Explorer Road buses will be diverted via Mariner Drive, Technology Park Link Road, Tom MacDonald Avenue, Perth Road and then the normal route.

Service 29Buses will be diverted from Dunholm Road via Myrekirk Road, South Road and Explorer Road before going around the roundabout and rejoining the normal route.


Fountainbleau DriveDue to the closure of Fountainbleau Drive starting on Monday, 9th July 2007 and lasting for approximately 8 weeks, the following services will be diverted.

Services 9 and 11From Claverhouse Road buses will run via Forfar Road to Fintry Drive and normal route.

Services 10 and 12From Fintry Drive buses will run via Forfar Road to Claverhouse Road to rejoin normal route.

Service 32 (towards City Centre)From Fintry Road buses will run via Fintry Drive and Forfar Road to rejoin normal route.

Service 32 (towards Fintry)From Forfar Road buses will run via Fintry Drive to Fintry Road and normal route.

Service 36From Fountainbleau Drive buses will run via Fintry Road, Fintry Drive, Forfar Road and Claverhouse Road to rejoin the normal route.

Service 37After completing the loop around Mill O'Mains buses will run via Forfar Road, Fintry Drive and Fintry Road to Fountainbleau Drive and the normal route.
