Marketing Campaign 'Zips' into Homes
Dundee's leading bus company is taking to the streets of the City with an aggressive marketing campaign. More than 50,000 homes are to receive a direct mail shot as part of the public information being distributed in a massive public awareness campaign. The campaign is 'warning' customers that the Travel Dundee Travelcards promotion can save loyal company customers serious money.
Stuart Henry, Corporate Affairs Manager for Travel Dundee said today; "We are running a powerful advertising campaign in the print media and on local radio, which will supplement on bus advertising and of course the mail-shot into homes across the city. The whole aim of the campaign is to blitz passengers with information as to how they can save money on their local bus travel with Travel Dundee.
"The saving's to our customers we believe are quite impressive for the period the campaign is running for. It should certainly brighten up the extra shopping days that people will want to put in before Christmas. The Dundee local economy should also benefit from our activity.
"We are offering Travel Dundee's loyal customers the chance to save ᆪ2.00 off the price of a 1 week Travelcard and ᆪ5.00 off a 4 week Travelcard. This offer is valid between 6th November and the 2nd December 2006.
"But the real big winners of our pre-Christmas extravaganza, will be those customers who wish to save over ᆪ8 per month by switching to Direct Debit. Information is available about this scheme on by contacting 0845 603 9064."
- The normal price of a one week Travelcard is ᆪ10.50, and a four week Travelcard is ᆪ38.00
- To claim the ᆪ2.00 off a one week Travelcard simply present the ᆪ2.00 voucher with a recently expired Adult Daysaver
- To gain ᆪ5 off a four week Travelcard a voucher will need to be presented with a recently expired one week Travelcard with a valid Photocard showing an expiry date of no earlier than the 28 October 2006
