New Operations Director for Travel Dundee
Travel Dundee has appointed Andrew Hunter as Operations Director.
Andrew, 31, grew up in Bearsden on the outskirts of Glasgow and attended Robert Gordon's University in Aberdeen and Glasgow Caledonian University. He attained a BA in Commerce and a BA (Hons) in Business Studies respectively.
After previously working in accountancy and financial services he joined First Group's Graduate scheme in 1998. During his time he has worked in Essex, Glasgow and Manchester before moving to First Eastern Counties as Area Operations Manager King's Lynn and West Norfolk in May 2000.
Six months later he was promoted to the role of General Manager West, responsible for Norwich, King's Lynn and Bury St Edmunds depots. In April 2003 he was promoted to General Manager Operations, overseeing all six of Eastern Counties depots in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Jim Lee, Managing Director of Travel Dundee said: "I welcome Andrew to the team here in Dundee. He brings with him an extensive knowledge of bus operations where his expertise will prove beneficial to both our staff and customers here in the city."
