Travel Dundee Bus Network Update . . .

As many bus passengers in Dundee will know, Travel Dundee, the city's largest bus operator, have been reviewing and refreshing their bus network over the past few months - taking into account different travelling patterns, road amendments and more importantly, working with, and listening to customers to help deliver an even more reliable network.

Jim Lee, Managing Director of Travel Dundee said; "We?ve faced many challenges in the city over the past few months but now feel that our services have been altered and reviewed accordingly which will benefit everyone in the future as Dundee and the surrounding area continues to change into a magnificent 21st century conurbation."

Broughty Ferry Mr Lee added; "Our City Circle services - 9, 10,11 and 12 - which serve the Broughty Ferry and Barnhill areas, continue to perform well and the re-launch of our popular 9X / 10X service in November 2006 has helped ensure that the important Broughty Ferry - Ninewells Hospital corridor continues to be served by high frequency, quality bus services. The Broughty Ferry and Barnhill aspect of our network is of huge importance and in many ways, underpins the local economy in the area. We will continue to work with all our partners and customers in the Broughty Ferry area to maintain our proud service quality for many years to come whilst also achieving our long-term aim of making travel simpler."
