UK Bus Awards - Travel Dundee 100%

Travel Dundee, the city's largest bus operator, achieved Runner-up in the 2005 UK Bus Awards, in the 'Claudia Flanders Award for Accessibility' category.
Jim Lee, Managing Director for Travel Dundee said; "We are pleased that Travel Dundee has been recognised at the largest industry awards ceremony in the UK. Myself and the team are obviously disappointed that we did not win the award overall. We are looking forward to winning the award in the future and are very pleased with the commitment that our staff have given to our customers. We want to be the best in the industry.
"We are proud to have become the first major operator in the country to operate with 100% low floor, easy access buses whilst also being able to boast a fleet fitted 100% with innovative, digital CCTV.
He added, "We have taken huge strides in both accessibility and customer safety over the past few years and I think it is clear for all to see the commitment that Travel Dundee is making to public transport and the local economy in Dundee."
