It's that time again! The first half term of the year is just around the corner and with so much to see and do, we thought we’d put together a guide of all the best things going on across Coventry and the Midlands this February.
From trampoline parks and meeting Dippy the dinosaur to becoming a Ninja Warrior and building a LEGO masterpiece, there is something for everyone in our half term guide. So what are you waiting for? Scroll down and start planning now…
Coventry Transport Museum
There’s loads to do at Coventry Transport Museum this half term. Whether you want to discover the largest collection of publicly owned British vehicles in the world or take part in some of their family activities. Such as the Junk Modelling Maker Challenge, where your kids can get creative with waste materials to create some fantastic new inventions.

RedKangaroo Coventry
Bounce into half term at RedKangaroo Coventry! Enter a world of inflatables, trampolines, slides and jump pits where you can take part in tonnes of exciting activities. From a wipeout machine to the UK’s tallest indoor drop slide your family will be bouncing off the walls to get back there!

Herbert Art Gallery and Museum
The nation’s favourite dinosaur is back on the road again and this half term Dippy the Diplodocus is heading to Herbert Art Gallery and Museum! And best of all it’s FREE. Your little ones can enjoy seeing a real life dinosaur in person as well taking part in Drop-In Dino Crafts and a Fossils and Folklore Trail too.

Coventry Laser Quest
Laser quest, mini golf, escape rooms and a VR experience?! There’s not many places where you can do all of that under one roof. Luckily for us, at Coventry Laser Quest you can. For the ultimate sci-fi adventure that has something for everyone, this place should definitely be on your half term to-do list!

Thinktank Science Museum
Do you have a budding scientist at home? If so, the ThinkTank Science Museum is the perfect place to visit during the school holidays! It's Science Garden is free to use from 3pm, where your kids can take part in fun experiments and play in the park.
Did you know you can get 50% off entry at ThinkTank with your bus ticket too? Make sure to book early though as it's really popular!

Legoland Discovery Centre
Everybody loves Lego, adults and kids. So of course Legoland Discovery Centre makes our list of the best things to do this half term. At the ultimate indoor Lego playground your kids can tour and explore a mini built Birmingham or save a princess on the Kingdom Quest Ride! As well as building to their heart's content and road testing any vehicles they create on the huge test ramp.
Sealife Centre
Go back in time to the prehistoric era this half term with Sealife Centre Birmingham! At their Jurassic Seas event, your future Sea Life Rangers can follow a Jurassic trail, dig for fossils and take some Jaw-some photos! All whilst seeing fascinating marine creatures such as Gentoo Penguins, Piranhas, Jellyfish, Sharks and even Northern Sea Otters!
