After a fabulous year of events in 2021, we look forward to the events lined up until June 2022! We’ve put together a list of the upcoming highlights you can look forward to this year, so you don’t miss out on these great events! 

Explore Godiva’s Cathedral Quarter walk

Travel back in time and discover the legacy Lady Godiva left behind!

Learn the history of Coventry; including the Gunpowder plot, exploring the Cathedral Ruins, how ‘Coventry’ discovered its name and the many events the Cathedral Quarter are hosting as part of the City of Culture programme. 

There's plenty of activity going on, and the Cathedral Quarter is a great hub to soak it all in.

This event starts in Broadgate, Coventry, CV1 1NE the home of Lady Godiva’s iconic statue and within walking distance from Pool Meadow Bus Station.

Take your history knowledge further on this Jigsaw History Tour of Coventry, understanding its history and how it pieces all together to form the city we know and love.

Delve into this walking tour, learning the stories of how the city continued to make history by reinventing its own future and whilst discovering the city’s hidden gems.

Daniel Lismore: ‘Be yourself, everyone else is already taken’

Daniel Lismore, Coventry’s own internationally renowned artist, will exhibit his finest work along with his ‘An Army of My Life’ installation pieces, at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum from Friday 18th February 2022 to Sunday 26th June 2022. 

A truly vibrant breath-taking and mesmerising exhibition will be celebrated in Lismore’s home city of Coventry. With over 50 sculptures, each illustrating his multi-dimensional identity and a series of different works through contrasting mediums exploring Lismore's rise to fame.

This is a free exhibition, and with many previously unseen works being exhibited, we imagine tickets will be going quickly. So don’t miss out and book your tickets here

Jasper Carrott’s Stand Up and Rock! 

Jasper Carrott is coming home to the Albany Theatre from Thursday 24th March 2022 to Saturday 26th 2022! 

Jasper is back with the legendary Bev Bevan Band and this time brings a special star guest… Andy Bennett! 

Get ready to dive into the fun of great comedy and music, share a great laugh and a little something to raise our spirits! Interested?

Learn about our wildlife with: Animals! 

Wondering how we are connected to each other and the surroundings around us? 

Then check out the wonders of the natural world with this wild interactive immersive performance called: Animals! 

Join the storytellers as they sing about nature, explore why biodiversity is important and entail on how we can have a positive impact upon wildlife. 

It’s a little something for everyone to learn on this interactive journey, so come and join in with the fun! 

Only between Monday 11th April 2022 until Friday 22nd April 2022, so purchase your tickets today. 

Hop aboard on the Pirates of the Canal Basin! 

Looking to take the kids out over Easter and giving them a break from all that chocolate? Head over to the Canal Basin which will be transformed into their very own pirates port, full of your favourite characters on a stranded ship. 

Discover the life of pirates, by exploring the pirate school, attend a pirate court and visit the pirate tavern! 

To get to the Canal Basin is a 5-10 minute walk from Pool Meadow Bus Station. Otherwise you can hop on the 13 bus which drops you off to the Canal Basin too! 

Keep your eyes peeled for this theatrical experience! This event will be live from Thursday 21st April 2022 to Sunday 24th April 2022. Tickets on sale now!

The Great Middlemarch Mystery

If you're an escape room connoisseur or have a hunger for solving crimes then check out this part immersive theatre production and part-mystery game. This mystery takes on a contemporary spin as we see the fantasies and scandals unfold right in the heart of Coventry!

So grab your friends, family and your thinking cap, to come together to solve The Great Middlemarch Mystery.
