Head over to Bablake School for a summer filled with amazing activities for kids from ages 5-17. Whether they’re looking to be introduced to a sport for the first time, or want to sharpen their skills with an emphasis on teamwork and communication, this camp is a great place for any kid with plenty of energy!

Coventry Rocks’ Summer of Fun 2021
These free camps are located across Coventry and are for children (aged 9-17) who receive benefits-related free school meals.
Over four weeks each child will enjoy sports, musical activities, a free meal and home cooking packs, as well as group trips to other activity centres.

The Herbert’s summer activities
The Herbert is always a great place to visit while in Coventry’s city centre, but even more so with their summer programme of activities.
Take the kids along for their art masterclass sessions, including clay sculpting, oil painting and more.

Coventry Pride Family Fun Day
This free event, aimed at younger audiences, is a light-hearted introduction to Pride with musicians, dancers and drag performers, as well as a number of food and drink stalls.

Comedy Club 4 Kids
Take the kids into the world of stand-up comedy in a safe and fun environment. Suitable for ages 6+ this daytime comedy club is getting excellent reviews and costs just £8 per ticket.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens
One of the city’s prettiest attractions, the Botanical Gardens offer some of the UK’s most gorgeous green spaces. Housing everything from amazing glasshouses, to a playground, tea room and more, there really is something any visitor can appreciate.

Walsall Arboretum Splash Park - Walsall
Walsall Arboretum stretches across 170 acres of land and boasts everything from open parkland and playgrounds to skate ramps and pedalo rides. The arboretum itself features over 10,000 species of trees and shrubs, as well as plenty of wildlife to observe.

Openair Film and Chill - Solihull & Wolverhampton
Residents and visitors of Solihull and Wolverhampton can enjoy big screen showings of family favourites this summer at Moseley Cricket Club and Wolverhampton racecourse.
Pack some good food, blankets and whatever else you need to enjoy classics like Grease, the Greatest Showman and The Lion King in style.

Moseley festivals - Moseley
Moseley’s family-friendly festivals are back! Starting with Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival (20th-22nd August), giving you the best musical vibes, as well as tremendous food and drink.
This is followed by Moseley Folk & Art Festival (3rd-5th September), featuring a massive three day line-up of great acts, ready to celebrate the end of the festival season.
Bournville Book Fest - Bournville
Or for something on the quieter side, Bournville Book Fest is not only one of the nation’s favourite literary festivals, but the only one in Birmingham dedicated to 0-12s.
Get the kids involved in writing workshops, drawing, modelling, storytelling and more, and have them mesmerised by the wonderful world of literature.

Rush Trampoline Park - Kings Norton
Leave gravity behind this summer with a trip to Rush Trampoline Park. Take part in specialised versions of games like dodgeball and basketball, enjoy soft play for the smaller children or just go in for a fun-filled bounce around the park.

Dudley Zoo’s outdoor cinema
The zoo has been a firm family favourite for generations, but did you know they’re showing some movie classics this summer too?

Just a short walk from the centre of Dudley, Priory Park is a great visit come rain or shine. With basketball and tennis courts, a bowling green, cricket pitch and plenty of other play areas and open spaces, it’s a great place to spend the day with the kids.
