Looking for some fun activities to cool you down this Summer? What better way than to visit your local indoor or outdoor water park! Check out our top cool spots to visit across the West Midlands.
Wondering how you can beat the heat? Check out the award winning indoor waterpark located in the heart of Coventry, The Wave. Featuring high-speed slides, a splash zone or wind down in their wave pool or the lazy river. Doesn't matter if you’re in for a thrill or to chill, there’s something for everyone!

The Wave is conveniently located in Coventry City Centre which is around a ten minute walk from Pool Meadow Bus Station and Train Station too. Otherwise hop aboard on the following buses: 9, 11, 12X, 17/17A, 21.
Memorial Park is a great alternative to cool down and observe our beautiful wildlife, and if you’re lucky, the Splash ‘n’ Play area might be open too. With over 36 water jets, this is perfect for the little ones to splash around and cool down.
Feeling hungry, or need a light snack? Don’t forget to pop over to the newly refurbished cafe where you can treat yourself to a nice refreshing drink and ice cream.

If you’re struggling to keep the kids entertained and cool this summer head over to Birmingham's favourite, Cannon Hill Park.
First take a trip out on the boating lake in a swan pedal boat or you can steam ahead on the land train. Have a splash-tastic time!
Why not check out the Fun Park packed with plenty of games and rides. From the spinning coaster, to admiring the views of the park on the Big Wheel. Next you can take on the golden putter golf course in 36 holes of madness or why not visit the nature centre to learn all about your favourite animals! Which ones will you spot?

Last, but not least we have Wolverhampton Swimming & Fitness Centre. It’s the perfect place to keep the kids occupied whilst you can take a seat back and relax in their popular sauna room!
For plenty of splash-tastic fun, the little ones can delve into exhilarating water slides or ride on the fast flume! For something a little less intense, their lazy river is always a good pick with plenty of water features to keep all ages entertained and cool this Summer.
