Considering going Vegan? Well World Vegan Day is just around the corner on Tuesday 1st November 2022, which is the perfect time to start, or try for the day! That’s why we’ve put together a few of our favourite Vegan treats you can indulge in across the West Midlands. Check out our recommendations below!

Coventry

Good Food Cartel

If Mexican food takes your fancy then these guys are a great option to kick off World Vegan Day. Based in Earlsdon you can usually find them at the Hearsall Inn as well as now offering tasty takeaway tacos and drinks. As their tortillas are made from hand using natural, vegan ingredients as well as being sustainably sourced and gluten and GMO free you can have as many as you like! Veggie Corner

After previously twinning with Sandy Fish Bar in Coventry, Veggie Corner has now opened its own shop on Clay Lane. With a menu dedicated to delicious vegan dishes, they are revolutionising the Coventry food scene. From vegan pies and pizzas to even vegan battered fish, they’ve got you covered! Check out their menu to see for yourself.

Leave it to Esmie

We’re big fans of Leave it to Esmie and their ridiculously flavoursome Caribbean food and you can be too, as they have loads of veggie and vegan options. Their “Doubles'' are a big hit with vegan customers, think of two flatbreads filled with chickpeas, tamarind, mango chutney, green chilli sauce and a bit of salsa. Fargo Village Vegan Festival

Don’t forget to visit Fargo Village, where they’ll be holding their annual Vegan Festival on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November 2022 from 11am until 5pm. What can you expect? West Midlands

The Vegan Kitchen

The first fully vegan street food restaurant located in the heart of Birmingham. Serving irresistible home cooked vegan dishes, including their popular fingerlickin’ burgers loaded with seasoned cheesy dirty fries! Not a fan of burgers? Check out their 100% plant-based hotdawgs, choose from a classic or a cheezy hotdawg smothered with american mustard and crispy onions! Are you drooling yet? Delve into their menu here. Known for their funky interiors, why not check them out and visit them in person? Perfect to take for the gram! Find them in the Great Western Arcade in Birmingham.

Vegan Munch UK

Explore the Vegan Munch, the first vegan bar to specialise in plant based Doner Kebabs and Shawarma. Delve into their Vegan Doner Salad Box grilled to perfection and marinated with authentic turkish spices drizzled with their home-made sauce or mixed it up with a Doner and Nachos instead? BA-HA Vegan UK

Last but not least we have the award winning BA-HA Vegan! Known for their generous portions, we recommend you tuck into their popular BA-HA patty burgers smothered in onions, gherkins and bostin sauce served with loaded fries of your choice!
