What’s happening?
From Sunday 11th August there is going to be a change in the prices of the tickets we sell to customers that need to travel in the Outer Zone - Rugby area.
Why is it happening?
We recognise there is substantial increase to previous pricing for some customers, but this reflects the commercial cost of operating these services. This increase has been discussed with our partners at Warwickshire County Council and we agree this is needed to more closely reflect the costs of providing capacity required to convey the increased demand into Rugby from outside their local authority area.
Fares remain extremely competitive when compared to equivalent services from other operators in Warwickshire and allow customers to travel on all National Express buses in and around Coventry and beyond.
Are adult single ticket prices changing?
No. Single adult tickets will continue to be £2 until the end of this year.
I pay by Direct Debit, when will my price change?
If you pay by Direct Debit you will see the increase in your first payment after 11th August depending on when your normal pay date is. You will receive an email from us confirming the changes.
When will the term, student and child Direct Debit prices be changing?
Term prices will be increasing from mid August and Direct Debit prices will be increasing from September - in time for the new academic year.
