Expected City Centre congestion

Saturday 30th August

Due to the closures of Upper Well Street and Greyfriars Road along with temporary traffic lights and road narrowing on Corporation Street we anticipate that The City Centre around The Burges, Corporation Street, Queen Victoria Road and Croft Road will become very heavily congested.

Whilst we can not predict when this will happen it is most likely between 11am and 5pm

We will have an Inspector in the City Centre but we expect to have to divert services away from the area.

We advise you to go to

• Pool Meadow bus station for services 6, 6A, 7, 7A, 8, 9, 11, 14, 14A, 17, 17A and 18
• Hales Street for services 15 and 16
• Hales Street stand HS3 for service 21 to Wood End
• Trinity Street for service 20, 20A, 20B and 21 to Willenhall.
