Egg-cellent Experiments at Coventry Transport Museum

Tinker, make and play at Coventry Transport Museum this Easter, face ‘egg-streme’ challenges with curiosity, exploration and playful solutions. Will you be able to transport a variety of fake eggs safely up and down, forwards and backwards? Will they survive a drop? Make egg-cellent transport and see how far it can go.

Fairy Folk and Fearless Knights St Mary's Guildhall

The enchanting world of fairy folk and fearless knights awaits this Easter at St Mary's Guildhall. Embark on a fairy door trail throughout the historic Guildhall, wander round and unravel clues and seek out hidden fairy doors.

If you are after something more crafty, you can fashion delightful fairy and knight peg dolls, and unleash your artistic flair decorating knight's shields. Or those who want something with a little more thrill, the resident knight is on hand to train aspiring warriors in traditional swordplay and strategic defence against mythical beasts.

Free Easter holiday fun at Resorts World 

If you’re looking for some free fun all in one place, Resorts World Birmingham has you covered, with plenty of Easter activities to delve into. From Easter basket decorating workshop, a mini mad hatters tea party, a golden egg hunt plus some special Easter themed guests. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained.

Easter Bunny Trail at War Memorial Park

There are six giant bunnies hiding in the park, each with a letter. If you can find them all, write down all the letters and then arrange them to make an Easter themed word you will win a prize. 

Pick up a trail pack from the Visitor Centre between 10am and 2:30pm, £3.50 per trail pack.

Botanical Easter Egg Trail

A fun and egg-citing challenge for the whole family to enjoy, an adventure to hunt the eight specially created botanical eggs while discovering the incredible spring flora around the Gardens.

Normal entry fees apply, plus £1.25 per trail sheet which can be booked online, or purchased on arrival at the Welcome Desk. The trail is recommended for children aged 6 and above.

Pirate Treasure Hunt at Sea Life Centre Birmingham

Go on a swashbuckling adventure this Easter. Dive into a treasure hunt through the aquarium, you may even get some treasure at the end! Meet a real pirate, see sharks, green sea turtles, sea otters, penguins, clownfish and plenty more.

Dippy the Dinosaur at Herbert Art Gallery & Museum

Head to see the nation's favourite dinosaur, a life-size replica of a Diplodocus carnegii skeleton – a 26 metre-long dinosaur that lived 155-145 million years ago.

Dippy is free to visit but if you fancy taking your experience up a notch you can try Dipp-E VR + Dippy for £3. Immerse yourself in the 175 million year journey of the Herbert’s Ichthyosaur skull and experience the power of interactive storytelling.

The Wave

Fancy some water park fun this Easter, head to the Wave Coventry from high-speed slides and a fun-packed splash zone to the exhilarating Wave Pool and relaxing Lazy River. There is so much to do to keep the kids entertained.
