We've recently collaborated with Moms in the Midlands to find you the best family days out during October half term. Here's the 10 top things to do in the West Midlands and Coventry...
National Express West Midlands asked us to put together our Top 10 recommendations of things to do locally this half term. We've included bus route suggestions on how to travel to all of the attractions easily.

Why not splash about or ride the wave at this award winning indoor waterpark in the heart of Coventry? You can visit for a family fun session, the 'Teen Wave Rave' on 22nd October 7-9pm (over 12s) or even book in for their Halloween themed sessions from the 29th-31st October.
Take the 17 bus from Pool Meadow bus station to Coventry, Quadrant, the venue is a one minute walk away.
This cosy Harry Potter themed coffee shop is a must visit for West Midlands based muggles. This half term they're serving up Halloween themed afternoon tea - booking is essential.
Take the 79 bus from Darlaston bus station (towards West Bromwich) to meeting Street, which is a five minute walk from the venue)
Navigate eight Halloween themed crazy golf holes with some spooktacular prizes along the way, from the 30th-31st October.
Take the 79 bus from Wolverhampton bus station to West Bromwich bus station, which is a five minute walk from New Square Shopping Centre.
Halloween wouldn't be complete without a trip to Europe's largest Halloween store, whether it's costumes, props, home décor or trick or treat items - this is the place to visit for all your nightmarish needs.
Take the 7 bus from Dudley bus station, (towards Wollaston), to Merry Hill.
Join Teach Rex on Wednesday 27th October as they bring their interactive dinosaur show to the city, includes meet and greet and photo opportunities next to the amazing dinosaur.
Take the 1 bus from St George's Parade, Wolverhampton to Grove Street, which is a two minute walk from the venue.
A spooktacular fun show for all the family taking place on Saturday 30th October with plenty of silliness and spookiness for all ages thrown in. The theatre are also running a series of workshops throughout half term or you can venture into a fully immersive world in their premiere Escape Room (13+ booking necessary).

What better way to celebrate the spooky season than by watching the original fearsome family themselves. The venue also has a bar and family friendly restaurant, be sure to check showing times before you travel.

Coffee, cake and crafts - what more could you ask for? Head down to The Hive to get involved in crafts, messy play or paint your own pottery - Halloween themed as well as all the regular ceramics available to be painted.

You can blow off the cobwebs with a day out to Dudley Zoo, home to over 1300 animals and with a courtyard cafe and restaurant on site for you to enjoy, you can really make a day of it.

Having recently been fully refurbished with new activities, the Midlands first combined trampoline and inflatable park is definitely going to score you some brownie points with the kids. Children have to be 5 years old to play, however there are dedicated 'Toddler Time' sessions for your little ones.
