In September National Express Coventry are making several timetable changes to improve reliability and add some extra journeys for customers. Many services have been retimed to improve timekeeping in current traffic conditions.

One of the bigger changes is that we are running more buses on the 6 & 6A to Tile Hill. Between Pool Meadow and Tile Hill buses will now run every 10 minutes during the day Monday to Saturday. Each service will operate every 20 minutes to improve the service for Tile Hill Lane, Broad Lane and Banner Lane. Evening and Sunday buses will continue to run every 30 minutes. The increased frequency starts on 1st September.

Services 9, 11 and 12X will be better co-ordinated between Pool Meadow and the Rail Station to reduce waiting times for passengers. For most of the day buses will operate every 5 to 10 minutes. 

An extra bus will leave the station for University Hospital on service 9 at 0545. Extra buses will also operate from Pool Meadow to University Hospital at 0705 (service 9) and at 0740 on service 9 to Walsgrave Triangle.  

Services 15 (Whitmore Park) and 16 (Keresley) will gain an extra city centre pick up point at Hales Street (outside the transport museum). This will make it easier for passengers to change from buses arriving in Pool Meadow and Trinity Street. The services will continue to serve their existing stop in Pool Meadow.

A number of additional early morning journeys will be added to the timetables on weekdays. From 1st September there will be an extra journey on the 20A starting at University Hospital at 0440. This will serve Henley Road, Bell Green, Windmill Road and Foleshill Road. 

From 29th September we will also be running early journeys on service 15 from Whitmore Park at 0455 and service 21 from Willenhall also at 0455.

These extra morning journeys will connect with service 11 which leaves Pool Meadow at 0520 to connect with the first trains to Birmingham and London.

From the start of September additional late night buses will operate, Mondays to Saturdays, from Pool Meadow to Warwick University and Canley at 2350 and 0020.

Services 8S for Cardinal Wiseman and 9S for Bishop Ullathorne will be renumbered to 8B and 9B respectively and can be used by all passengers.  

Timetables will change on routes 3, 6/6A, 8, 9, 11, 12X, 13/13A, 15, 16, 17/17A, 20/20A/20B and X1.
