Good luck to our rising engineering stars 

Best of luck to our engineering colleagues Luke Gorton, Pawel Dudziec, Chris Little, Tom Lees and Jasmin Diedrick, who all took part in the IRTE skills challenge this week.

Led by the Society of Operations Engineers, the IRTE skills challenge aims to find future engineering stars working in the bus and coach sectors. Companies like First, Arriva, and Metroline also took part, so we’re delighted to showcase our rising talent amongst other big names in our industry. 

The group took part in a variety of tasks throughout the day, and winners will be announced in September at an awards ceremony. 

Craig Perkins, Engineering Apprenticeship Manager, said: “I couldn’t be prouder of Luke, Pawel, Chris, Tom and Jasmin. Having taken part and won this challenge myself a few years ago, I know how tough it is but I’m confident our colleagues have what it takes to win. Well done all, you did brilliantly on the day!”
