Buses carry rainbows

Despite the recent dry weather, rainbows have been breaking out in the windows of National Express buses across the West Midlands and Coventry.

Children from all over the region have been colouring, painting and sticking at home to create the colourful symbols to celebrate and support NHS staff and other key workers. And National Express is displaying their work on the buses to spread hope across the West Midlands and Coventry.

Managing Director of National Express West Midlands, David Bradford, said:

“Our drivers and engineers are key workers - they are providing an essential lifeline to the frontline.

“So it’s been really lovely to receive so many beautiful rainbows. Thank you to everyone who sent us their amazing pictures.

“Our garage teams have printed them out and put them up in the windows to brighten up the buses and show our support for all the fabulous work taking place within our communities.”
