Swift card

An easy and flexible way to travel

Swift Card

A Swift card is an easy and flexible way to travel around the West Midlands with a choice of tickets and ways to pay.

Load your bus pass subscription or day tickets onto the Swift card and simply place it on the scanner every time you get on the bus! Or load the card with credit to ‘Pay As You Go’ for journeys that way. Swift cards work for adult and child tickets.

What are the options?

  Swift card bus passes/travelcards

  • You don't get issued with a paper ticket, your smartcard is your ticket!
  • Cheaper than buying tickets daily
  • You can pay by a regular subscription or as a one off payment

Simply tap the Swift card on the scanner every time you board the bus!

  Swift card flexible tickets

  • Bulk buy your day tickets to save money
  • Load 5 or 10 day tickets at a time
  • Only use them when needed

Simply place your Swift card on the scanner to activate a day ticket. You can use your card for the rest of the day on our buses and it will only deduct one day ticket for the rest of the day.

  Swift Pay As You Go

  • You can buy any of the tickets that are available on the bus
  • Never worry about having cash with you!
  • Auto-top up is available

Place your Swift card on the scanner and let the driver know which ticket you would like. You'll be issued with a paper ticket once you've selected your ticket.
