Belwell Lane, Sutton Coldfield closure
On Thursday 5th and Friday 6th February 2026, from 8pm until 5am, Belwell Lane will be closed between Lichfield Road and Four Oaks Road for highway works. During this time, services 6 & X3 will be diverted.
Service 6
Heading towards Sutton
Buses will divert from Four Oaks Road, left Lichfield Road to Mere Green, u-turn at Mere Green Island, and return along Lichfield Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Walsall
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
Service X3
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Lichfield Road, pass Hill Hook junction to Mere Green Island and rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Lichfield
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
