Belwell Lane, Sutton Coldfield closure
On Thursday 8th and Friday 9th January, from 7pm until 5am each day, Belwell Lane will be closed between Lichfield Road and Four Oaks Road for highway works. During this time, services 6, 78, 78A & X3 will be diverted.
Service 6
Heading towards Sutton Coldfield
Buses will divert from Four Oaks Road via Lichfield Road, u-turn at Mere Green Island, and return along Lichfield Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Walsall
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
Services 78 & 78A
Heading from Kingstanding
Buses will divert from Streetly Lane via Four Oaks Road, Lichfield Road, and Mere Green Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Kingstanding
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
Service X3
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will continue along Lichfield Road, pass the junction with Hill Hook Road, and continue along Lichfield Road to rejoin the normal line of route after Mere Green Island.
Heading towards Lichfield
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
