Bristol Road South, Northfield closure
On Sunday 15th February 2026, from 9.30am until 4pm, Bristol Road South will be closed between Sir Herbert Austin Way and Church Road for Severn Trent works. During this time, services 18, 27, 48, 61, 63 & X20 will be diverted.
Service 18
Heading towards Bartley Green
Buses will divert from Bunbury Road, continue Great Stone Road, right Bristol Road, and left Frankley Beeches Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Yardley Wood
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
Service 27
Heading towards Rubery
Buses will divert from Bunbury Road, continue Great Stone Road, right Bristol Road, and left Frankley Beeches Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Solihull
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
Service 48
Heading towards Hawkesley
Buses will divert from Bell Lane, continue Church Road, and left Bunbury Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
