Castle Hill, Dudley closure
From Monday 11th August until Friday 3rd October approximately, Castle Hill will be closed between Trindle Road and Castle Street, heading towards Dudley, for Metro works. During this time, services 7, 11, 11A, 12, 19, 74, 82, 87, 126 & X8 will be diverted.
Service 7
Heading towards Dudley
Buses will divert from Hall Street via King Street, Vicar Street, High Street, Stafford Street, The Inhedge, Parsons Street, Ednam Road, and Priory Road to rejoin the normal line of route to the terminus at stop DY4.
Heading towards Wollaston
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Services 11 & 11A
Heading towards Dudley
Buses will divert from Dudley Road via Birmingham New Road, Priory Road, The Broadway, and Ednam Road to rejoin the normal line of route to the terminus at stop DY10.
Heading from Dudley
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Service 12
Heading towards Dudley
Buses will divert from Hall Street via King Street, Vicar Street, High Street, Stafford Street, The Inhedge, Parsons Street, Ednam Road, Priory Road, The Broadway, and Ednam Road to the terminus at stop DY7.
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Service 19
Heading towards Dudley
Buses will divert from Hall Street via King Street, Vicar Street, High Street, Stafford Street, The Inhedge, Parsons Street, Ednam Road, and Priory Road to rejoin the normal line of route to the terminus at stop DY4.
Heading towards QE Hospital
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Service 74
Heading towards Dudley
Buses will divert from Birmingham Road via Tipton Road, Birmingham New Road, Priory Road, The Broadway, and Ednam Road to the terminus at stop DY7.
Heading from Dudley
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Due to these diversions, we anticipate a slight increase in journey times of up to 5 minutes during the summer holidays, and 10 minutes from September when schools return.
Service 82
Buses will divert from Priory Road via The Broadway, Ednam Road, and Priory Road to terminate at a new stop DY13.
Heading towards Wolverhampton
Buses will start from stop DY13 on Priory Road, then follow the normal line of route.
Service 87
Heading towards Dudley
Buses will divert from Birmingham Road via Tipton Road, Birmingham New Road, Priory Road, The Broadway, and Ednam Road to the terminus at stop DY7.
Heading from Dudley
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
