Gerrard Street, Lozells closure

On Friday 9th January 2026, from 9.30am until 2.30pm, Gerrard Street will be closed between Wheeler Street and Burbury Street for highway repairs. During this time, services 8A & 8C will be diverted.

Service 8A towards Jewellery Quarter
Buses will divert from Clifford Street via Wheeler Street, Great King Street North, Lucas Circus, New John Street West, Hockley Circus, and New John Street West to rejoin the normal line of route.

Service 8C towards Aston
Buses will divert from Hockley Circus via New John Street West, Lucas Circus, Great King Street North, Wheeler Street, and Clifford Street to rejoin the normal line of route.
