Hamstead Road closure
From Monday 2nd February until Friday 13th March 2026, between 7am and 5pm, Hamstead Road will be closed between Soho Hill and Villa Road in phases for traffic signal upgrade works. During this time, service 16 will be diverted.
Heading towards Great Barr
Buses will continue along Soho Hill, right Villa Road, and left Hamstead Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
