Icknield Street, Hockley closure

On Monday 9th March 2026, from 10pm until 5am, Icknield Street will be closed between Spring Hill and Carver Street for highway works. During this time, services 8A & 8C will be diverted.

Service 8C towards Aston
Buses will divert from Ladywood Middleway, Spring Hill roundabout, first exit Spring Hill, right Western Road, continue to Crabtree Road, continue Pitsford Street, right Hingeston Street, and continue Carver Street to rejoin the normal line of route.

Service 8A towards Highgate
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
