James Watt Queensway, Birmingham City Centre closure

On Thursday 12th February 2026, from 11.30pm until 6am, James Watt Queensway will be closed between Corporation Street and Lancaster Circus for Severn Trent works. During this time, services 65, 67, X3, X4, X5, X12, X13 & X14 will be diverted.

Services 65 & 67

Heading towards Pype Hayes
Buses will divert from Priory Queensway via left Moor Street Queensway, right Park Street, continue Masshouse Lane, continue over Moor Street Queensway to Priory Queensway, Old Square, second exit Colmore Circus, right Snow Hill Queensway, right St Chads Queensway, and first exit Lancaster Circus to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham City Centre
Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Services X3, X4, X5 & X14

Heading towards Erdington
Buses will divert from Square Peg via Corporation Street, left Old Square, first exit Colmore Circus, right Snow Hill Queensway, right St Chads Queensway, and first exit Lancaster Circus to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham City Centre
Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Services X12 & X13

Heading towards Bromford
Buses will divert from Priory Queensway via Old Square, second exit Colmore Circus, right Snow Hill Queensway, right St Chads Queensway, and first exit Lancaster Circus to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham City Centre
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
