Longbridge Lane closure

On Thursday 19th February 2026, between 9:30am and 2pm, Longbridge Lane has been closed from Bristol Road South to Sunbury Road for street lining works. During this time, services 45, 47 and 49 will be diverted.

Services 45, 47 towards Longbridge

Buses will divert via Longbridge Lane, turning at Sunbury Road to terminate at the bus stop lay-by.

Services 45, 47 towards Birmingham

Service will start from Sunbury Road and continue along the normal route via Longbridge Lane.

Services 49 towards Rubery

Buses will divert via Longbridge Lane, Coombes Lane, Groveley Lane, Lowhill Lane, Lickey Road, then take the first exit at the next roundabout onto Bristol Road South, before rejoining the normal route.

Services 49 towards Solihull 

Reverse of above.
