Lower Bull Street bus stop changes from Tuesday 26th January 2021

From Tuesday 26th January 2021 roadworks will be taking place in Lower Bull Street in Birmingham city centre which will affect the number of buses that can stop there. These works are expected to last for 3 to 4 weeks.

Services 33, 51, 907 and X51

Buses will continue to run from Lower Bull Street but their stop will move closer towards High Street. Buses arriving in the city centre will continue to stop on Moor Street Queensway but will then stop outside McDonalds on Dale End (at the bottom of Lower Bull Street) to allow passengers to get off. Buses may wait there a few minutes before continuing to Lower Bull Street for their next journey.

Some arrivals on X51 may run via Carrs Lane and set down in Albert Street - as some of our X51 buses switch to operate an outbound journey on the 997.

Services 934, 935, 936, 937, 937A and 997

Buses will start from Albert Street (stop BS17). Buses arriving in the city centre will continue to stop on Moor Street Queensway and will then continue around to Albert Street.

Some arrivals on the 997 may operate to Lower Bull Street as their next journey is on service X51.

Staff from National Express West Midlands and Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) will be on hand to assist passengers.
