Merritts Hill, Bartley Green closure

On Wednesday 28th January 2026, from 9.30am until 12.30pm, Merritts Hill will be closed between Holloway and Genners Lane for highway lighting works. During this time, service 18 will be diverted.

Heading towards Yardley Wood
Buses will divert from Genners Lane via Long Nuke Road, Shenley Lane, Bell Hill, Sir Herbert Austin Way, Lockwood Road, and Bristol Road South to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Bartley Green
Buses will continue along Bristol Road South, u-turn at South Road, Bristol Road South, Sir Herbert Austin Way, Bell Hill, Shenley Lane, Long Nuke Road, and Genners Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.
