Priory Queensway, Birmingham City Centre closure

On Wednesday 28th January 2026, from 9pm until 5am, Priory Queensway will be closed between Moor Street Queensway and Old Square for resurfacing works. During this time, services 14, 16, 23, 24, 33, 51, 61, 63, 65, 66, 67, 68, 82, 87, 94, 95, 907, 936, 937, 997, 998, X12, X13, X20, X21, X22, X51 & X64 will be diverted.

Service 14

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Masshouse Lane via Moor Street Queensway, James Watt Queensway, Dale End, Newton Street, Corporation Street, Old Square, and terminate at stand PQ2 on Corporation Street.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will start at stand PQ2 on Corporation Street, then use Bull Street, Albert Street, Moor Street Queensway and rejoin the normal line of route after the junction with Priory Queensway.

Service 16

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Old Square via Corporation Street, Bull Street, Albert Street, Moor Street Queensway, serve stand MS16 and continue on the normal line of route.

Heading towards Great Barr
Buses will divert from Moor Street Queensway via Albert Street, serve stand MS21, Bull Street, Corporation Street and Old Square to rejoin the normal line of route.

Services 23 & 24

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Moor Street Queensway via Carrs Lane, serve stand MS6, High Street, Bull Street, Corporation Street, and Old Square to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will follow the normal line of route

Services 33, 51, 907 & X51

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from James Watt Queensway via Park Street, and terminate at stand 3 on the new bus interchange.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will start at stand 3 on the new bus interchange, then use Moor Street Queensway and James Watt Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route.

Services 61 & 63

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will serve stand MS8 on Moor Street Queensway, stand MS9 will be closed, then continue along Moor Street Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Services 65, 67, 68 & X64

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from James Watt Queensway via Park Street and terminate at stand MS24 on the new bus interchange.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will start at stand MS24 on the new bus interchange, then use Moor Street Queensway, and James Watt Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route.

Services 66, 94 & 95

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Masshouse Lane via Moor Street Queensway, unload at stand MS12, then use Albert Street, Bull Street, and terminate at stand PQ3 on Corporation Street.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will start at stand PQ3, then continue to Old Square, Corporation Street, James Watt Queensway, u-turn at Lancaster Circus, James Watt Queensway, and Jennens Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Services 82 & 87

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Moor Street Queensway via Albert Street, serve stand MS21, Bull Street, Corporation Street, and Old Square to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will follow the normal line of route from Old Square.

Services 936, 937, 997 & 998

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from James Watt Queensway via Park Street, and terminate at stand 4 on the new bus interchange.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will start at stand 4 on the new bus interchange, then use Moor Street Queensway, and James Watt Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route.

Services X12 & X13

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from James Watt Queensway via Dale End, Newton Street, Corporation Street, Old Square, and terminate at stand PQ2 on Corporation Street.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will start at stand PQ2 on Corporation Street, then use Bull Street, Albert Street, and Moor Street Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route after the junction with Priory Queensway.

Services X20, X21 & X22

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will serve stand MS8 on Moor Street Queensway, stand MS9 will be closed, then continue along Moor Street Queensway, James Watt Queensway, Dale End, Newton Street, Corporation Street, and Old Square to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
