Soho Road, Handsworth closure
On Sunday 8th February 2026, from 5am until 3.30pm, Soho Road will be closed between Booth Street and Nineveh Road for highway lighting and patch works. During this time, services 11A, 11C & 74 will be diverted.
Services 11A & 11C
11A towards Bearwood
Buses will divert from Church Lane, first exit Grove Lane, cross Soho Road, continue Nineveh Road, third exit Nineveh Road, and left Handsworth New Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 11C towards Perry Barr
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
Service 74
Heading towards West Bromwich
Buses will divert from Soho Road, right Grove Lane, left Oxhill Road, continue Sandwell Road, and right Holyhead Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Holyhead Road, left Sandwell Road, right Sandwell Road, Oxhill Road, right Grove Lane, and left Soho Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
