Station Road, Solihull closure

On Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th February 2026, from 8pm until 5am, Station Road will be closed for Sprint resurfacing works. During this time, services 4, 4A, 5, 6, 49, 72, 76, X2 & X12 will be diverted.

Service 4

Heading towards Solihull Station
Buses will divert from Warwick Road, third exit Lode Lane, serve the temporary bus stop, then continue Lode Lane, and rejoin the normal line of route at Prince’s Way roundabout.

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Station Road, right Herbert Road, serve the temporary bus stop, right Homer Road, right Prince’s Way, third exit Lode Lane, and left Warwick Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Service 4A

Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Blossomfield Road, Prince’s Way roundabout, second exit Lode Lane, u-turn at next island, and return along Lode Lane to terminate at the temporary bus stop.

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will start at the temporary stop on Lode Lane, continue Lode Lane, and rejoin the normal line of route at Prince’s Way roundabout.

Service 5

Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Prince’s Way roundabout, third exit Lode Lane, u-turn at next island, and return along Lode Lane to terminate at the temporary bus stop.

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will start at the temporary stop on Lode Lane, continue Lode Lane, and rejoin the normal line of route at Prince’s Way roundabout.

Service 6

Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Blossomfield Road, Prince’s Way roundabout, second exit Lode Lane, u-turn at next island, and return along Lode Lane to terminate at the temporary bus stop.

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will start at the temporary stop on Lode Lane, continue Lode Lane, and rejoin the normal line of route at Prince’s Way roundabout.

Service 49

Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Blossomfield Road, Prince’s Way roundabout, third exit Station Road, and right Herbert Road to terminate at the temporary bus stop.

Heading towards Rubery
Buses will start at the temporary bus stop on Herbert Road, right Homer Road, Prince’s Way roundabout, and first exit Blossomfield Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Service 72

Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Lode Lane, second exit continue Lode Lane, serve the temporary bus stop, continue Lode Lane, and Prince’s Way roundabout to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood
Buses will divert from Station Road, right Herbert Road, serve the temporary bus stop, right Homer Road, right Prince’s Way roundabout, third exit Lode Lane, and second exit Lode Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Service 76

Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Blossomfield Road, Prince’s Way roundabout, third exit Station Road, and right Herbert Road to terminate at the temporary bus stop.

Heading towards Rubery
Buses will start at the temporary bus stop on Herbert Road, right Homer Road, Prince’s Way roundabout, and first exit Blossomfield Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Solihull Station
