Temporary Moor Street Queensway closure - service changes from Monday 4th - Friday 8th January 2021

Temporary route changes in Birmingham city centre due to the closure of Moor Street Queensway between 4th - 8th January 2021. 

2, 3, 4, 4A, 5 and 6 will be unable to serve Carrs Lane, High Street or Albert Street. Throughout this period, services will stop at bus stop MS3 on Moor Street (outside Primark) and then U turn on Moor Street to exit the city. Buses will also stop at Park Street on their way out of the city centre.  

16 - from Snow Hill Queensway, buses will divert along Colmore Row, Newhall Street, Edmund Street, Margaret Street, Great Charles Street Queensway, Paradise Circus, Suffolk Street Queensway, Swallow Street, Hill Street and Station Street to Upper Dean Street.

17 - buses will U-turn at Moor Street, outside Moor Street Station, and temporarily move to new terminal stop MS18, outside Moor Street Station. Minor changes to times.

45/47 - from Moor Street Queensway, buses will divert along St. Martins Queensway (through the Bull Ring tunnel) and will not serve Carrs Lane, High Street or Albert Street.

60 - buses will U-turn at Moor Street, outside Moor Street Station, and temporarily move to new terminal stop MS18, outside Moor Street Station.

61/63 and X20/21/22 - buses will U-turn at Moor Street, outside Moor Street Station, and will not serve Priory Queensway.

X1/ X2 - from Moor Street Queensway, buses will divert along St. Martins Queensway (through the Bull Ring tunnel) and terminate at stop NS6 (opposite the main entrance to New Street Station). Buses will then exit the city centre via Hill Street, Station Street and Upper Dean Street.
