Warstone Lane, Jewellery Quarter closure
From Monday 16th February until Monday 16th March 2026, Warstone Lane and Carver Street junction will be closed in one direction for gas works. During this time, services 8C & 101 will be diverted.
Service 8C
Service 8C towards Aston
Buses will divert from Spring Hill roundabout, right Summer Hill Road, left Newhall Hill, continue Frederick Street, serve the temporary bus stop, and continue to clock roundabout to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 8A towards Highgate
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Service 101
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Hingeston Street, right Icknield Street, left Summer Hill Road, left Newhall Hill, continue Frederick Street, serve the temporary bus stop, and right at clock roundabout to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Handsworth
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
