Looking for great things to do this May half term? We’ve taken the mayhem out of  the half term rush and put together a list of marvellous activities and events happening all around Coventry. Get ready for a fun-filled break with plenty of family-friendly ideas to keep everyone entertained.

Lakeside Cinema & Play Space at the NEC

Enjoy a free family attraction at the NEC with a new outdoor space for all the family. The NEC Lakeside will offer free activities including an outdoor cinema, a children’s play area, activity trail and a picnic area.

The X1 will get you to Birmingham International Rail Station which is just a short walk to the NEC.

Family fun day at Warwick Arts Centre

Join the pop-up family fest at Warwick Arts Centre on Saturday 23rd May, between 10am - 4pm. The day will include free events including baby yoga, a treasure hunt, craft activities and family cinema screenings of BabyCino: Ocean with David Attenborough and a relaxed screening of  Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Use buses 11 or 12X to get you there. 

Kids play & eat free at Putt Putt Social 

Putt Putt social is filled with adventure, fun and culture, plus during May half term kids can play and eat free, with a booked adult game (sessions must be booked in advance). Get ready to tee off and have some fun! 

Located in Lower Precinct shopping centre, it's a short walk from all city centre bus stops. 

Wildlife Wonder & Nature at Herbert Art Gallery & Museum

Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is packed with family fun this May Half Term! Discover the wonders of our natural environment, with its colourful wildlife and plants. With daily activities planned, it's a chance to allow young artists to explore and connect with nature through different art techniques.

The Wave

Make a splash this Half Term at The Wave, Coventry’s award-winning indoor waterpark! Enjoy thrilling slides, a splash zone for little ones, a relaxing lazy river, and an exciting wave pool. Open daily with multiple sessions, perfect for family fun.
