Timetable increases from 31st May 2020

From Sunday 31st May we are increasing the number of buses on nearly all of our Coventry routes.

We are increasing our services back up to three quarters of pre-coronavirus levels after the prime minister encouraged more people to return to work if they can’t work from home. No routes will change, but buses will arrive more frequently.

The exact times of some first and last buses will be slightly different under these new timetables.

The 4A and 13A will be running again.

And there are other changes to the following routes:

  • 20 - During lockdown buses did not go to Bayton Road industrial estate. After 31st May 2020, there will be a peak-hour service every 30 minutes Monday-Friday.
  • 20C - The route is changing so that Lentons Lane gets a direct link to Coventry city centre.

Putting more buses into service will mean more room on each bus so safe social distancing can be practised. Wherever we can, we are using double deckers to make more space on board.

In this ‘new normal’, we are asking people travelling to stay apart to stay safe.

Customers should also follow government guidance on staying safe outside their home, including wearing a face covering and avoiding peak travel times where possible.

We have worked closely with Transport for West Midlands through the Bus Alliance to co-ordinate these latest changes and will continue to carefully monitor customer numbers adjusting timetables accordingly.
