National Express West Midlands counts down to Christmas

With the countdown to Christmas well and truly under way, National Express West Midlands is keeping customers moving this festive season.

The bus operator has announced details of its Christmas and New Year services, with buses running every day except Christmas Day.

Normal service will be in operation up to and including Sunday 22nd December. Between 23rd December and 4th January 2020 buses will be running to amended timetables, with extra early buses on some routes.

National Express West Midlands has also released a festive offer by announcing that the £3 Evening Ticket is now available to buy via contactless and cash.

Chris Gibbens, Commercial Director for National Express UK Bus, said:

“With the roads and car parks getting busier and the festive celebrations in full swing, we’d like to remind customers that we’re here to be their designated driver.

“Our £3 Evening Ticket offer is perfect for those heading out to celebrate in the lead up to Christmas and New Year. It was an exclusive on our app but we’ve now extended it for Christmas and New Year so that our customers can also buy with cash or contactless.

“Anybody boarding a bus after 18:00 can now tap their card on the reader and however many more times they travel that evening, they won’t pay more than £3.”
