Bearwood Road, Smethwick closure

On Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th March 2026, from 7pm until 5am, Bearwood Road will be closed for essential highway patching works. During this time, service 89 will be diverted.

Heading towards Midland Metropolitan Hospital

Buses will divert from Church Road, continue Grange Road, left Waterloo Road, and right Cape Hill to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards West Bromwich

Buses will divert from Cape Hill, left Waterloo Road, second exit Waterloo Road, right Bearwood Road, and left Church Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
