Beeches Road, Great Barr closure

On Thursday 18th June 2026, from 9.30am to 3pm, Beeches Road will be closed at the junction of Hassop Road for highway works. During this time, services 28 & 52 will be diverted.

Service 28

Heading towards Heartlands

Buses will continue along Thornbridge Avenue, pass the junction of Hassop Road, continue Thornbridge Avenue, left Aldridge Road, and continue Aldridge Road to rejoin the normal line of route after the junction with Beeches Road.

Heading towards Great Barr

Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Service 52

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will continue along Thornbridge Avenue, pass the junction with Hassop road, u-turn at Tideswell Road roundabout, and terminate at Thornbridge Avenue.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will follow the normal line of route from Thornbridge Avenue.
