Belchers Lane, Alum Rock closure
On Friday 13th February 2026, from 7pm until 5am, Belchers Lane will be closed between Alum Rock Road and Cotterills Lane for pothole works. During this time, service 28 will be diverted.
Heading towards Heartlands Hospital
Buses will divert from Alum Rock Road via Pelham roundabout, third exit Alum Rock Road, left Cotterills Lane, and right Belchers Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Erdington
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
