Belwell Lane/Lichfield Road roundabout, Mere Green closure

From Thursday 9th to Monday 13th July 2026, between 7pm and 5am, Belwell Lane including part of the Lichfield Road roundabout will be closed for IIP LPS works. During this time, services 6, X3 & X5 will be diverted.

Service 6

Heading towards Walsall

Buses will be diverted from Lichfield Road, second exit Four Oaks Road, and continue Walsall Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Sutton Coldfield

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Service X3

Heading towards Lichfield

Buses will be diverted from Lichfield Road, second exit Four Oaks Road, continue Walsall Road, right Rosemary Hill Road, right Clarence Road, and left Hill Hook Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will continue along Lichfield Road to Mere Green roundabout and rejoin the normal line of route.

Service X5

Heading towards Roughley

Buses will be diverted from Lichfield Road, second exit Four Oaks Road, continue Walsall Road, right Rosemary Hill Road, right Clarence Road, left Hill Hook Road, right Lichfield Road, and left Hill Village Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will follow the normal line of route.
