Bristol Road, Selly Oak closure

On Wednesday 27th May 2026, from 8pm to 5am, Bristol Road will be closed between Harborne Lane and Weoley Park Road for highway resurface works. During this time, services 61, 63 & X21 will be diverted.

Services 61 & 63

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will be diverted from Bristol Road, left Weoley Park Road, right Gibbins Road, left Harborne Lane, u-turn at retail park island, return Chapel Lane, and left Bristol Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Service X21

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will be diverted from Weoley Avenue, left Gibbins Road, and left Harborne Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Bartley Green

Buses will follow the normal line of route.
