Bristol Road South, Longbridge closure

On Monday 23rd March 2026, from 7pm until 6am, Bristol Road South will be closed between Lickey Road and Longbridge Lane for Severn Trent works. During this time, services 45, 47, 49, 63 & X20 will be diverted.

Services 45 & 47

Heading towards Longbridge
Buses will divert from Longbridge Lane, u-turn at Sunbury Road, and terminate in the bus lay-by.

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will start from Sunbury Road lay-by and follow the normal line of route.

Service 49

Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Bristol Road South, right Lickey Road, left Lowhill Lane, left Groveley Lane, left Coombes Lane, and right Longbridge Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Rubery
Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Service 63

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Bristol Road South, right Lickey Road, left Lowhill Lane, left Groveley Lane, left Coombes Lane, left Longbridge Lane, and right Bristol Road South to rejoin the normal line of route.
