Castle Road, Weoley Castle closure

On Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th May 2026, from 9.30am to 2.30pm, Castle Road roundabout will be closed for highway works. During this time, services 48, X20 & X21 will be diverted.

Service 48

Heading towards Hawkesley

Buses will be diverted from Weoley Castle Road, right Gregory Avenue and rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards West Bromwich

Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Service X20

Heading towards Bromsgrove

Buses will be diverted from Gibbins Road, left Weoley Park Road, right Bristol Road, u-turn at cut out after Bournville Lane junction, return Bristol Road, left Middle Park Road, and left Swarthmore Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Heading towards Bartley Green

Buses will be diverted from Weoley Castle Road, right Gregory Avenue and rejoin the normal line of route.
