City Road, Edgbaston closure

On Thursday 2nd April 2026, from 9.30am to 3.30pm, City Road will be closed between Portland Road and Sandon Road for tree works. During this time, services 11A, 11C, 12, 13 & 22 will be diverted.

Services 11A & 11C

11A towards Bearwood
Buses will divert from City Road, left Portland Road, right Stanmore Road, right Hagley Road, and right Sandon Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

11C towards Handsworth
Buses will divert from Sandon Road, left Hagley Road, left Rotton Park Road, left Portland Road, and right City Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Services 12 & 13

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will divert from Portland Road, left Stanmore Road, right Hagley Road, and right Sandon Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Sandon Road, left Hagley Road, left Rotton Park Road, and right Portland Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Service 22

Heading towards Oldbury
Buses will divert from City Road, left Portland Road, right Stanmore Road, right Hagley Road, and right Sandon Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Midland Metropolitan Hospital
Buses will divert from Sandon Road, left Hagley Road, left Rotton Park Road, left Portland Road, and right City Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
